Fabulous house in great location. Host's communication could have been better.

Points positifs : Fabulous location, 2 minute walk to the best stretch of beach in Benodet, as well as the best restaurant (Le Sans Souci). We bought our bikes, you can cycle on cycle paths along the coast for miles. We took a day trip to Quimper (took the bus), which was lovely. Also sailed to the Glenan islands from Benodet on an organised trip. Would recommend both of these. The house was really nice and well equipped. If you have young children, be careful of all the fine bone china and high quality furniture / ornaments etc. You have to put down a $800 deposit! There were 5 of us, we appreciated the large living spaces and two bathrooms. Unfortunately the bathroom with the bath didn't have a shower curtain though, so the floor got very wet!

Points négatifs : The host's communication was very poor. Quite a lot of discrepancies between emails and their listing! The incorrect address was listed for key collection on booking.com. We travelled 20 mins out of our way to the office listed which did not exist! We asked another shop owner and they kindly directed us to the correct office (in a different village). Booking.com has incorrect information for €500 deposit as cash (it was €800 on a card!) No mention of not supplying towels or linen within the advert before booking (as we paid more than £2000 to rent this house, we assumed these would be included!). We had to go to the expense of renting. Incorrect information given to us on a printed leaflet and also in the accommodation regarding check-out. It clearly states to return keys and linen to their office (with no mention of them closing on a Sunday). We travelled 20 minutes out of our way to return the key and linen at the specified time and the office was closed! There were many apple trees in the garden, which need some attention. They blocked the garden paths and apples were dropping everywhere, left to rot. We communicated all the above with the host and they failed to admit liability.

Schöne Unterkunft für Familien.

Points positifs : Sehr großer Garten. Nähe zum Strand. Schönes Haus, kreative Inneneinrichtung. Großer Wohnbereich, schöne Schlafzimmer. Eins der beiden großen Schlafzimmer hat einen direkten Zugang zum Wannenbad.

Points négatifs : Nur eine kleine Dusche für 9 Personen ist zu wenig. Die zweite Duschmöglichkeit ist in der Badewanne, jedoch ohne Duschkabine oder Vorhang, was bedeutet, dass nach jeder Nutzung der Badewanne als Dusche, das Badezimmer nass wird und gewischt werden muss. Dadurch sieht man bereits Stockflecken an den Bodenfliesen, die durch die Feuchtigkeit entstehen.
